I just came across this video of a segment for The Wisconsin Gardener, which was recorded at my studio in Rockdale, Wisconsin in 2004. Master Gardener, Shelly Ryan, interviewed me about the flowerpots I make, and the history behind them. There's also some interesting background on the work I did with Guy Wolff from 1996 to 2012, making traditional garden pottery at workshops around the world. We supplied Smith & Hawken, and many other independent retailers during those years, and helped potters in Wisconsin, Honduras, Portugal, Mexico, Vietnam and China find new markets for pottery made by hand.
