Pancheons were a workhorse in rural English homes of the Victorian era. They were used for "standing milk" (letting the cream rise) or making bread dough. The form is perfect for repurposing into a flowerpot, giving enough width for multiple plantings. The flat rim has been ornamented with a fan motif that adds intricate detail to a simple form.
