Details

This style was inspired by Corinthian columns, the most ornate style of the classical era, with capitals that were ornamented with acanthus leaves and scroll like volutes. Mine is much simpler than that, using a beaded coggle for ornamentation above and below the fluting.  It's open shape allows for easy planting and repotting, while its pedestal base makes it very stable for use on a patio or deck.
