I call this style "furrowed" because the indentations remind me of the furrows of freshly planted farm land here in Wisconsin.  I make the furrows using a rounded serving spoon, making concentric rings which make their way from the top rim to the base.

While this style is not quite as traditional as some of my other pots, I like the silhouette, and how it plays nicely with a beautiful planting.

  • Fired to 2350° F
  • Lead-free stoneware glaze.
  • Drainage hole into attached saucer.
  • Each pot is made by hand on the potter's wheel, and glazed by hand.  Slight variations in size, glaze application and texture are elements of the handmade process and are to be expected.

Our glazed flowerpots are stoneware, fired to 2350° Fahrenheit. They will not leak, but take care when watering that you do not overflow the attached saucer.
