Wholesale

My studio here in Rockdale, Wisconsin is small, but efficient, and we make a lot of pots.  However, It's just me throwing the pots, one at a time on the potter's wheel, with my wife, Megan working with me on the finishing, firing and packing.  We sell everything we can make through our website, to individual customers. To have the capacity for a larger wholesale production and bulk shipping to retail stores, it would require a much larger operation, with multiple employees.  I've learned over the years that I'm much happier making pots rather than managing potters and employees, so we're keeping it small here in Wisconsin. 

However, I know there is a wider market for handmade garden pottery, so I've designed a wholesale line that is produced by a wonderful group of potters in Sabanagrande, Honduras.  We've worked closely together since 1997 when we started making a line of Guy Wolff designed garden pots for Smith & Hawken.  They are some of the most talented throwers I've ever worked with, and make exceptionally nice pots.  

I designed the Wakefield Handmade Faux Finish line exclusively for Napa Home & Garden to offer to the wholesale market.  Wholesale orders can be placed on the Napa Home & Garden website and will ship from Newport News, VA.

Very occasionally, I'll take on a wholesale project here in Wisconsin, but production availability for that is very limited,  The timing has to be right, and the specific pieces needed must be a good fit with my interests and sensibilities.
