Fluting is a time honored decorative element that I have come to embrace in my pots. In Greek architecture fluting was used to give more play of light on columns, making them appear taller and more perfectly round. On my pots, I love the sense of vertical lift and movement that fluting gives. The pattern and texture makes for an interesting play between the pot and the planting it holds. The width and height of this pot makes it perfect for amaryllis, or other fall bulbs.
