This mug has "soft" fluting that I did with a wooden tool while the pot was still wet on the potter's wheel. The soft fluting, generous handle and open rounded shape, make using this mug a wonderful tactile experience. The smooth white glaze allows one to appreciate the color of the coffee or tea being enjoyed, and makes the mug easy to clean.
